From cupid’s arrow to the aisle: counting down to our wedding

As the big day approaches (just 8 months away!), we’re ramping up our preparations and diving into the final stages of making our wedding day everything we’ve dreamed of. The past year has been filled with research, meetings, and lots of decisions, but now, it’s time to focus on the details—and most importantly, taking care of ourselves along the way. Here’s what we’ve been working on lately!

Food is one of the most memorable parts of a wedding celebration, and we wanted to make sure our guests have an unforgettable dining experience. We recently had a meeting with a caterer to finalize the menu. It was so exciting (and delicious!) to sample different dishes and get a taste of what’s to come. We’re narrowing down our choices to include some of our favorite flavors, and we can’t wait to see everything come together on the big day.

Another big milestone recently—we sent out our save the dates! It was such an exciting moment to share the wedding details with our closest family and friends. We’ve been collecting addresses, finalizing the design, and now they’re out in the world. It’s starting to feel very real!

We decided to go with a simple, elegant design that fits the aesthetic of our venue and theme. It’s exciting to see it all coming together, and we can’t wait for everyone to mark their calendars and prepare for the celebration.

As we continue to plan, we’re also making sure to take care of ourselves physically. We’ve committed to working out consistently at the gym, and it’s been amazing to see the benefits—more energy, improved mood, and feeling stronger every day. We’re not just focused on fitting into our wedding attire but also on feeling our best on the big day.

Staying active has become an important part of our routine, and it’s helped us stay motivated and focused. Plus, it’s a great way to relieve some of the stress that naturally comes with planning a wedding.

Another key part of our self-care routine has been our monthly skin treatments at Ridge Med Spa. We’ve been working with their team for a few months now, and it’s been a game-changer. From facials to customized skincare routines, we’re already seeing a noticeable difference in our skin.

The treatments have helped us maintain a healthy, glowing complexion, and we’re so excited to look our best on our wedding day. It’s been incredible to feel pampered and take time for ourselves, especially with everything else we have going on. The team at Ridge Med Spa has made it easy to relax, recharge, and take care of our skin—something we’re both grateful for as we get closer to the wedding.

With everything on our plates, we’ve realized how important it is to make time for self-care. Wedding planning can be stressful, and we’ve found that focusing on our physical and mental well-being helps us stay grounded and calm throughout the process. Whether it’s our gym sessions or skin treatments, taking care of ourselves has made all the difference.

It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle of wedding prep, but we truly believe that making time for self-care has helped us feel more connected, energized, and excited for the big day. After all, it’s not just about the wedding—it’s about the journey leading up to it and ensuring we’re at our best both inside and out.

With 8 months to go, we still have a few things to check off the list. But with our caterer secured, save the dates sent, and our fitness and skincare routines in full swing, we’re feeling ready to take on the next steps. We’re also planning our next visit to Ridge Med Spa to continue working on our skin and getting closer to that radiant glow we want for our wedding day.

We’ll continue updating you as we move forward, and we’re so grateful to have these amazing experiences to share with you!
